Yes! Another sunny morning here in beautiful Ulverston! And yet more on it's way so that is a lovely prospect. The plants all need regular watering, of course, and the farmers are becoming concerned about losing their crops. The reservoirs are much lower that where they normally are at this time of year, of course. so there is likely an announcement shortly about a hosepipe ban?
I had a very busy day yesterday. And that is what I like!
I went to Clare's for a very nice tea and then home again to catch up n one or two matters.
The fishing industry is certainly in the news following the announcement by the government about the new trading arrangement with the EU.

I hope you all had a lovely weekend and enjoyed the lovely sunny weather?
(I had a busy work day on Saturday, not finishing till about 4pm. Home then adn an hour on the Poop Deck before a nice tea and an evening at home. I did NOT watch that stupid show known as the Eurovision Song Contest.
On Sunday teh slies were clear blue, once again, so I had my tea on teh Poop Deck, did a bot of housework then got ready for teh Coktails Bike Ride. We met in The Gill at 1.30. Our forst "port of vall" was the General Burgoyne at Great Urswick, then onwards over Birkrigg to The Ship for another swift half.Then down to the bay front to teh Chill and Grill for an ice cream. Onwards to the Devonshire and then Avanti Capuitola and finally the Farmers! A lovely trip out with some good friends.

Yet another sunny morning!
I have enjoyed a few busy days.
On Thursday, I went to SPa Medica in Kendal to have a laser treatment on my right eye. Absolutely excellent! Super staff, very efficient.I can see so much clearer now. I am overjoyed!!!!
In the evening I attended the Heart of Ulverston Awards at teh Coro. A very swish affair with everyone dressed in their best. An excellent meal with wines provided too. A truly memorable event.
Business is getting busier and busier, I am pleased to say. I have some lovely houses for sale on my Register.
I was out last evening and the town seemed to be very busy.

Another sunny day fr w everyone to enjoy? And the forecast is very positive to, that this gorgeous weather continues for several more days.
I am poff to Kendal this afternoon to have a Laser treatment on my rght eye. Helen is driving me there adn I am very excited at the p; prospect of the correction to my vision.
