A pleasant day in Ulverston. It is sunny from time to time but remaining a bit chilly. So coats are still necessary!
Played Bowls last evening at Kirby. I lost, I regret to admit. 21-12. I certainly was not at my best, but my opponent was pretty good! Playong "at home" on Wedbesday so It calls d]=for a spot of practice before then I reckon.
We are coming up to St Georges Day and, as usual, there will be a St George Pageant in the Market Place this Saturday. So be sure to bring the kids along and let them see St George rescue the Maiden in Distress. It's all good silly fun.
There will be music provided by "Trickle Charge" from 11 till 1pm. So it will be a nice event for everyone to enjoy.
