It's been raining. Again! Stooped now but there may be a couple more showers during the day, so be prepared and carry a brolly.
I had a day "off" yesterday, but still did some urgent work for a valued customer.
I was part of teh team last evebibg playing against West Mount in Barow . I lost mt personal match ( boo hoo) but the team won!!! Well done Kings Head!!
I saw on tv a 97 year old lady doing a "wing walk" which included a loop-the-loop and a barrel roll, for charity! Isn't that simply marvellous?. It was the second time she has accomplished such a feat. Other escapades included abseiling down a multi-story building. Wow!
There is the suggestion that there may be another heatwave on it's way. To me, great news!

It's wet in Ulverston! Yes! It is RAINING! Not much though it should get out nice and bright later in the day. I hope, as I am bowling this evening at West Mount in Barrow.
The "Early Release Scheme" is causing widespread anger. It is designed to ease the overcrowding in the prisons. A big problem and a solution needs to be found quickly.
The wildfires in Europe continue to burn out of control despite the valiant efforts of the fire services and other agencies.. They are hoping that rain will come to douse the flames that are wrecking anything and everything in their path, including trees, homes, businesses and wildlife habitat.

It has been raining overnight! Still wet underfoot, so there is no need to take your brolly, but the rain has now stopped. The gardeners adn the farmers will be happy that there has been some rain to help them.
I saw a picture of an upturned car in Conishead Road. The parking in that road is dreadful. Do you not think that the car parking should be restricted to one side of the road only? Currently, it is more like a slalom.
There is a big row about the early release of prisoners to ease the overcrowding in the prisons. A difficult decision, no doubt.
Lots of wok is being carried out on the former JUTE shop in King Street. It is looking very swish and it is good to see another shop being occupied. Town is looking better?
