Another lovely sunny morning in Ulverston.
#So nice to be able to declare such? It remains noticeably chilly unless you are in direct sunshine. Solution? Stay in the sunshine!
I. together with a lot more, will be getting suited and booted later today as it is the annual dinner of the Royal Society of St George at Abbey House. Several of us meet earlier at the Farmers to have a couple "swift halves" before setting off for Barrow.
Then early ( 6.30 ) on Saturday morning I will be joining a group of stalwart volunteers to decorate the town with 240 flags as it if "FLAG FORTNIGHT!.

What a lovely day it was yesterday! Sunny all day long! It was supposed to be by day off but some wolrk came along which I could hardly refuse so that was that! It was perfect weather flor viewing and it proved to be quite successful. I met with a freind fro a fish and chips against the shore of the Duddon Estuary and they were lovely! I had some other tasks to deal with in the afternoon and eventually finished work at 4.30 home then to get changed for teh Bowls Match ot the KHBC against Barrow Island. It was a good game but the visitors trounced us!
